To cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing — by email to hello@avarajourneys.com. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive your written notification, not from the date of any verbal communication.
Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the total confirmed journey cost, including all land arrangements, accommodation, activities and transfers arranged by Āvara Journeys. International flights booked separately are not included in this calculation.
The percentages shown above reflect costs that have already been committed to our supplier partners on your behalf. Hotels, lodges and private villa operators impose their own cancellation terms, which form part of our overall cost structure and cannot be waived once incurred.
