Kandapola, Nuwara Eliya
Goatfell stands on the Concordia Tea Estate at Kandapola, in the high hills above Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka's tea country. It is around five hours by road from Colombo, or reached on the hill-country railway to Nanu Oya, the station for Nuwara Eliya and one of the loveliest journeys on the island.
Once here, the pace is the bungalow's own. Nuwara Eliya town, the surrounding tea estates and the high plains of Horton Plains lie within reach, but the pleasure is the garden, the pool and the quiet of a house with only four rooms. Our designers arrange the private transfers and the estate walks.
